Job Description:

As part of our product development and expansion into the East Coast of American we are looking for an experienced Business Developer to join our company. This is a rewarding and exciting role for someone with a strong commercial acumen.  The role involves developing new business and growing existing business in Ireland, UK and America. To identify sales leads, pitch services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.

Duties include:

Understand the target markets, including industry, company contacts, and which market strategies can be used to attract clients.

• Experience in developing and executing strategic business plans.
• Identifying and following up new business leads.
• Planning and preparing presentations.
• Communicating new product developments to prospective clients.
• Signing up new business in line with revenue targets.
• Overseeing the development of marketing literature.
• Writing reports and business proposals.
• Providing management with feedback.
• Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
• Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
• Support with the development of promotional materials, deployment and delivering training for both internal and external use.
• Attend a number of conferences per year as part of the avail.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing or Related.

Other Skills:

Five years proven track record in sales/ business development and meeting revenue targets.

Minimum 2 years’ direct B2B experience supporting consultative sales, business development, selling to Health Care or Disability related fields and government leaders.

Experience working in an early stage company and launching new products.

Excellent organisational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM systems.

Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements.

Ability to travel internationally, to meet with potential partners and to support existing accounts.

Passionate about creating and supporting individuals with disabilities to live an independent life.

Position and salary:  

We are offering a 3 day a week position, with the potential to move to full-time in the future, with options for shareholding. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.
